ANNOUNCEMENTS
KOREAN WAR VETERANS GENERAL CHOI'S DAY 50th ANNIVERSARY
Mid-state Korean War Veterans that served in
the republic of Korea during the conflict will be presented a medal for their
service by General Choi, Seung Woo on Tuesday October 1, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. with
Major General David Petraeus, Commanding general 101st Airborne Division (Air
Assault) Fort Campbell, KY. The presentation will take place at the Wilson
Theater across from the Division Head Quarters and thank and honor the veterans
of the Korean War and their families, especially those who lost their loved
ones. This event is to recognize the contributions of the Korean War Vets, to
our country and their Nation during the Korean War. This is to provide the
American public with a clearer understanding and appreciation of the lessons,
history, and legacy of the Korean War. Hope you all can participate this event
and we thank you and honor you and God Bless you.
